FoxyProxy Standard is a popular Firefox and Google Chrome add-on that will automatically switch an internet connection across one or more proxy servers based on URL patterns.

In other words, FoxyProxy Standard will automate the process of editing Firefox's Connection Settings dialog. FoxyProxy switches proxy servers based on the loading URL and the switching rules you define.

Additionally, animated icons will show you when a proxy is in use and an advanced logging shows you which proxies were used and when.

QuickAdd allows you to easily create new URL patterns. FoxyProxy is fully compatible with Portable Firefox, has better support for PAC files than Firefox itself, and supports more than 34 languages.

The add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
